You can only get HIV by sharing needles or having unprotected sexual contact with others who have HIV. Period. End of story.
How about if you were a medical professional 20 years ago and as you changed bedding in the cardiac or intensive care unit wards -- and you got pricked by dozens needles as you cared for your patients - the one that infected you, you cannot identify. What then? Too many people with limited perspective like you do not realize that it is not only people "sharing needles" or making some kind of "lifestyle choice" who get infected. I just had to let you know, that although I agree with your contention the ban should be lifted, it is not for the reason that you present - because that reason is just plain wrong. I know this from personal and excruciatingly painful experience.
